How much does it cost?
£99 per month, including up to 100 enquiries a month. There is one plan, with phone answering and text-back both included. No setup fee. No meter. No per-call overage. No VAT is charged.
What counts as an enquiry?
A call or text conversation answered by Deflectly in which a caller tells the assistant who they are and what they need. Repeat calls from the same caller about the same matter within 7 days count as one enquiry. Calls that are silent, abandoned within the first few seconds, wrong numbers, spam or sales calls to you are not counted.
Is there a free trial?
You don't pay anything until it's actually caught you twenty enquiries, or 90 days, whichever comes first. After that, you only pay if you choose to carry on. No card needed to start.
Will callers know it's an AI?
Yes. It picks up straight away and tells the caller plainly that it's an AI assistant, not you.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You get your own Deflectly number. Divert your line to it whenever you can't get to the phone, and take the diversion off whenever you can. With the diversion off, your phone rings exactly as it always has. Your phone provider controls the divert, and any charges it makes for diverted calls are yours to pay.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. There's no long tie-in: after the free trial, it runs month by month. Email support@deflectly.com and it ends at the end of the month you cancel in. You won't be charged for later months, and part-months aren't refunded. Your paid subscription never starts automatically after the trial: it only starts if you confirm in writing.
What happens to my callers' data?
If someone calls your business through Deflectly, calls are recorded and transcribed so you can see what was said and the booking can be made. Your callers' data is yours: you're in charge of it and we handle it for you, on your instructions. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models. If someone calls Deflectly's own line instead, Deflectly is in charge of that data; the Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of the page, has the detail.
What if it can't answer something?
It takes the caller's details and texts you an alert with a summary, so you can follow up. It only books what you've told us is bookable, and it can't transfer a call to you. Complicated jobs, upset customers, anything that needs judgement still needs you.
